hi! I’m alissa

I (she/her) have been a practicing social worker for over ten years. I have a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornell University. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings and have had the privilege of serving many different kinds of people in various stages of their lives. I decided to start a teletherapy practice because of the convenience and flexibility it affords my clients in our increasingly tech-driven world.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, cooking, petting my sassy orange cat, goofing off with my two young children, and exploring one of my favorite places - the rugged Oregon coast! All the banner pictures you see on this site were taken by me during coastal adventures.
